I'm delighted to say that my first full length novel will be published in September 2025.

HOPE GREENWOOD is an insightful exploration of the conflicts between who we want to be and how others would have us be: Hope’s story begins in 1969 when, at 17, she weaves herself a future in which she will be a child of the universe; artistic, free-spirited and unconstrained by others’ expectations.

Hope’s belief in universal love puts her at odds with those close to her, leading, paradoxically, to distance and isolation. Lies, secrets and distrust divide her from her family, and she is estranged from her dearly loved sister, Iris.

Fifty years later, wiser but still defiant, Hope’s pursuit of divine harmony continues to shape the way she sees the world. Now facing the loss of her own self in dementia, she is determined to dance her own way, despite the best intentions of her sister, Iris, and her daughter, Jeannie, to persuade her to accept her lot. Only her grandson, Tom, truly understands her determination to live life her own way.

When old secrets are uncovered, both Hope and Iris have to rethink the events  that separated them, and both will need courage to change their beliefs about each other.
